This Annual Giving Recognition Society acknowledges donors who contribute up to $1,000. It takes its name from Samuel Austin Moffett, an alumnus of Hanover College, who was instrumental in laying the foundation for the Presbyterian Church in Korea and is recognized as the Founder of the Presbyterian Theological Seminary and the Soongsil University.

Taking his Hanover College education, he left the comfort of his home to fulfill a calling to advance the Presbyterian Church. Mr. Moffett stands as an example of the Hanover College student — one who uses principles and knowledge to enhance her/his community.

The Samuel Moffett Society celebrates the investments made by countless alumni and friends to further the Hanover College mission. Members of the Society will receive the following:

  • The Hanoverian Magazine
  • Recognition on the Website
