Human Needs Fund Campaign

The Human Needs Fund was launched at Hanover College in 2016 in order to provide financial support to students, faculty, staff, and contract employees during times of hardship. The Fund is used to meet extraordinary financial needs and has benefited many campus community members, particularly students, during times of great trial and difficulty, including financial stress, personal health challenges, and family emergencies. The Fund is administered by the chaplain, who manages and distributes the funds in accord with the College's antidiscrimination policies.

Through gifts to the Human Needs Fund, Hanover College employees live out the mission of being a supportive community for all who come to live, learn, and work at Hanover College. All gifts to the Human Needs Fund are tax-deductible. If you have questions about the Human Needs Fund, you may contact Catherine Knott, campus chaplain, at 812-866-7087 or knott@hanover.edu. If you have questions about making a gift, you may contact Sara Wines, assistant director of annual giving and stewardship, at 812-866-7111 or wines@hanover.edu.

To make a monthly gift to the Human Needs Fund through payroll deduction, please complete the payroll deduction form and submit it to Kristin LaBolt, advancement services coordinator, at labolt@hanover.edu.
